MOBIL EAL Arctic Series

Mobil EAL Arctic Series are high-performance synthetic Environmental Awareness Lubricants (EAL) for refrigeration compressors and systems. They use ozone-friendly HFC refrigerants. (HFCs are chlorine-free alternatives to chlorine-containing refrigerants in the global market). They are suitable for carbon dioxide applications and have adequate miscibility to ensure proper oil return to the compressor (usually in piston type applications). Mobil EAL Arctic Series oils use proprietary synthesised Polyol Esters (POEs) and a unique additive system for superior lubricity, wear prevention, chemical and thermal stability, and hydrolysis stability. They are miscible with HFC refrigerants and have well-defined viscosity, temperature, and pressure correlations with a variety of HFC types.The Mobil EAL Arctic Series has been extensively tested with HFCs in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and is widely used by leading compressor and system builders globally.
Mobil EAL Artic Series is available in ISO Viscosity grades 15–220. These are suitable for use in household and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems that use HFC or CO2 refrigerants.
